way... For most people the interface that one is used to is created by the Microsoft
Explorer Shell. That interface includes what is commonly known as the Desktop, Start Menu,
and Task Bar. These things give users access to their file system and programs by plain,
uncustomizable menus and icons. And, anyone that uses their computers for any amount of
